If you are a first time cruiser you might like the idea of cruising on the River Wey. The route from Guildford down to Weybridge has only 10 self operating locks which means by the time you reach the River Thames area you will be feeling more confident in getting through the locks as you continue on your holiday afloat.
 
If you don't wish to take your car Guildford Boathouse is located just over a mile from the Railway station where taxis are readily available.
